Eğitim fakültelerinde 1998-99 öğretim yılından itibaren "Öğretmen Yetiştirmede Yeniden Yapılanma" düzenlemeleri uygulamaya koyulmuştur. Bu çerçevede öğretmenlik formasyon derslerinden biri olarak Öğretimde Planlama ve Değerlendirme dersi okutulmaya başlanmıştır. Bu dersin 1999-2000 öğretim yılının ikinci dönemindeki ilk uygulamalarına ilişkin Burdur Eğitim Fakültesi'nde okuyan öğrencilerin görüşleri anket yoluyla belirlenmiştir. Söz konusu görüşler dersin amacı, içeriği, işlenişi, veriliş dönemi, öğretmenler için gerekliliği ve öğrencilerin bu dersten öğrendikleriyle ilgilidir. Elde edilen veriler doğrultusunda Öğretimde Planlama ve Değerlendirme dersinin öğretmenler için gerekli olduğu anlaşılmıştır; ancak, içerik, veriliş dönemi ve ders saatleri açısından tutarlı olmadığı belirlenmiştir. Araştırmada öğretmen adaylarına, tüm öğretmenlerin sahip olması gereken önemli nitelikleri kazandırmayı amaçlayan bu dersin daha etkili ve verimli uygulanması için bir takım önerilerde bulunulmuştur.

The regulations of " Reconstruction in Teacher Training " have begun to be put into practice in the faculties of education since 1998-1999 academic year. In this sense, the course of Curriculum Planning and Evaluation in instruction has begun to be taught as one of the teacher training courses. The opinions of the students in Burdur Education Faculty about the first practices of this course in the second term of 1999-2000 academic year have been determined by administering a questionnaire. These opinions are related with the purpose, the content, the instruction of the course; the term in which the course is given; the necessity of the course for teachers, and the knowledge that students had gained in this course. In respect of the data obtained from this questionnaire, it is understood that the course of Curriculum Planning and Evaluation in Instruction is necessary for the teachers; however, it is determined that this course is not consistent with respect to its content, its term and its class hours.In this research, some suggestions are given for a more effective and more fruitful application of this course which aims at making the teacher candidates gain important qualities that all teachers should have.
