Polymorphism and phylogenetic relations among Turkish Species in genus Hyacinthella (Liliaceae) as determined by RAPD-PCR

In this study, Random Amplified Polymorphic DNA - Polymerase Chain Reaction (RAPD-PCR) was used to identify Hyacinthella Schur species. Primers used were found useful to determine genetical distances among Hyacinthella species. Polymorphism was seen among both species and the individuals of some species with respect to O-3, O-11 and O-4 primers, while the individuals of Hyacinthella heldreichii were determined to be genetically the same according to the O-3 and O-11 primers used. Fairly high polymorphism was observed within the individuals of H.hispida, H.lineata and H.glabrescens.
