Etkileşimli Medya Ortamlarında Resimleme Kullanımı: Google Doodle Resimlemelerinin İncelenmesi

Resimlemeler, betimlenmek istenen bir konunun, durumun ya da olayın anlaşılırlığını arttırmak için yapılan, sanatsal değeri olan açıklayıcı ve fikir verici çizimler olarak tanımlanmaktadır. Bu araştırma makalesinde günümüz resimlemeler ve kullanım ve üretim alanları, alternatif tasarım anlayışları üzerinden ele alınmakta, çoklu ortam ve etkileşimli medya ortamlarında kullanılan resimlemelerin incelenmesi çalışmanın başlıca sorunsalını oluşturmaktadır. Etkileşimli medya ortamları Google arayüz ekranlarında görüntülenebilen Doodle resimlemeleri örneği üzerinden değerlendirilmekte, kullanıcı merkezli tasarım anlayışı çerçevesinde Kullanıcı Arayüzü ve Kullanıcı Deneyimi kavramları üzerinde durulmaktadır. Etkileşimli medya ortamlarından arayüz tasarımlarında yer alan Doodle içeriklerinde hareketli görüntü, video, oyun vb. etkileşimli resimlemelerin geliştirildiği örnekler üzerinden açıklanmaktadır. Aynı zamanda bu çalışmada sanatçı üslubuyla özgünleştirilmiş resimlemelerin anlatım teknikleri araştırılmakta, bölgesel ve kültürel bağlamda ele alınış biçimleri üzerinde durulmakta, dijital çağa özgü mobil cihazlarda ve yeni medya ortamlarında yer alan resimlemelerden hareketle geleneksel sanat malzemeleri ile teknolojinin ne denli bütünleştirildiği örnekler üzerinde ele alınmaktadır. Bu makale kapsamında etkileşimli medya ortamlarında kullanıcı merkezli resimleme kullanımı ve etkisinin değerlendirilmesiyle araştırma sonuçlandırılmaktadır.

USE OF ILLUSTRATIONS IN INTERACTIVE MEDIA PLATFORMS: REVIEWING OF GOOGLE DOODLE ILLUSTRATIONS

Illustrations are defined as descriptive and illustrative drawings with artistic values that are made to enhance the clarity of a subject, a situation, or event, which is desired to be depicted. In this research article, contemporary painting techniques, usage and production areas are discussed through alternative design concepts and evaluation is done through illustrated formal review of objects. Interactive media platforms are examined through Doodle illustrations, which can be viewed on Google interfaces. User interface and user experience concepts are emphasized within the scope of user-centered design. Elements such as motions, videos, games in doodle contexts which take part in interface designs of interactive media platforms are explained with interactive illustration examples. At the same time, this paper studies instruction techniques of illustrations individuated with artistic styles, emphasizes on their regional and cultural perspective. It also shows the integration of traditional art materials and technology with reference to illustrations taking place in contemporary mobile devices and new media platforms. With the utilization of user-centered illustrations in interactive media platforms and the evaluation of its effects, the research is concluded.
