BOR'UN OKSİDATİF STRES VE DNA HASARI ÜZERİNE ETKİSİ

Bor (B) iz elementinin insan ve hayvanlarda kemik ve mineral, karbonhidrat, lipid, protein metabolizması, immun sistem ile hormonal regülasyon gibi biyokimyasal yönden önem taşıyan fonksiyonlar üzerinde etkileri bulunmaktadır. Bununla birlikte, bu elementin oksidatif stres üzerine etkilerine yönelik çalışmalar son yıllarda yoğunluk kazanmıştır. Bu derleme B'un DNA hasarı ile antioksidan savunma sistemi üzerine etkilerine yönelik bilgileri içermektedir.

EFFECT OF BORON ON OXIDATIVE STRESS AND DNA DAMAGE

Boron (B) has effects on important biochemical functions such as bone and mineral, carbohydrate, lipid, protein metabolism, immune system and regulation of hormones in human and animals. However, studies on the effects of the oxidative stress of this element has increased in recent years. This review contains information regording the effects of B on DNA damage and antioxidant defense system.
