Venöz Sistemde Unutulmuş Kateter Kılavuz Teli

Santral venöz kateterizasyon sürekli ilaç kullanımı, parenteral beslenme, geçici kalp pili yerleştirilmesi ve hemodiya- liz amacıyla uygulanan invaziv vasküler erişim işlemdir. Bununla birlikte Santral venöz kataterin takılması esnasındahemotoraks ve pnömotoraks gibi mekanik komplikasyonlar veya kateterin kullanımı esnasında kateter trombozu,enfeksiyon gibi problemler gelişebilir. Bu makalede 48 yaşında bir erkek olgu vasıtası ile santral venöz kateterizas- yona bağlı daha nadir görülen bir komplikasyon olan kılavuz tel unutulması sunulmuştur. Dikkatsizlik, tecrübesizlik,yorgunluk ve daha deneyimli bir klinisyenin refakatinin olmaması bu komplikasyonun en önemli nedenlerindendir.Bu yazıda kılavuz telin unutulma nedenleri ve önlenmesi için gerekli yöntemler tartışılmıştır.

Forgotten the Catheter Guide Wire in the Venous System

Central venous catheterization is an invasive vascular procedure which is used for persistent parenteral medication,parenteral nutrition, transient cardiac pacemaker and hemodialysis. However, some mechanical complications likehemothorax and pneumothorax or another complications like catheter thrombosis and infection are associated withperforming of central venous catheterization. In this article, we discussed a 48-year old man presented with forgot- ten catheter guide wire which is a rare complication related with central venous catheterization. Important causes ofthis complications are carelessness, lack of experience, fatigue and catheterization without an experienced cliniciansupport. On this report we discussed causes of forgetting the catheter guide wire and the methods required to preventthis comlication.
