Tam tıkalı iliyak artere başarılı antegrad ve brakiyal retrograd anjiyoplasti
Altmış dokuz yaşında erkek hasta sağ kalça ve baldır kladikasyosu yakınmasıyla kliniğimize başvurdu. Periferik anjiyografsinde sağ ana iliyak arter ostiyumunda tam tıkanma izlendi. Sıklıkla, kısa tıkanıklıkların tedavisi perkütan girişimle tedavi yapılabilirken, uzun ve ostiyal lezyonların tedavisi cerrahidir. Vakamızda bu zor vakaların tedavisinde antegrad ve brakiyel retrograd yaklaşımı beraber kullanarak başarılı tedavisini gösteriyoruz.
Combined antegrade and retrograde endovascular intervention for chronic total occlusion in ıliac artery
A 69 year-old man presented with right sided claudication. Peripheral angiography revealed chronic total occlusion(CTO) of right common iliac artery at the level of the ostium. Often, shorter occlusion treatment can be done withendovascular treatment whereas more chronic and longer occlusions require surgery. We showed that an example ofcombined antegrade and brachial retrograde fashion to facilitate revascularization of such diffcult cases.
