Zararlılarla mücadelede entomopatojenik nematod, Steinernema ve Heterorhabditis (Nematoda: Rhabditoidae) türlerinin kullanımı

Zararlı böceklerle ile mücadelede kullanılan insektisitler çoğunlukla geniş spekturumlu olmaları nedeniyle hedef alınanların dışındaki organizmalara olumsuz etkide bulunmakta ve bazen insan, faydalı böcek ve çiftlik hayvanlarına karşıda toksiktirler. Biyolojik mücadele kimyasal savaşıma alternatif olabilmektedir. Entomopatojenik nematodlardan Steinernema ve Heterorhabditis türlerinin kullanımı, kitlesel üretimi, formulasyon ve uygulama şekilleri ile çevresel faktörlerin etkileri üzerine yapılmış olan çalışmalar kısaca özetlenmiştir.

The use of entomopathogenic nematode species Steinernema and Heterorhabditis in insect control

Insecticides used to control insect pest often have broad spectrum impact on non-target organisms and they are sometimes toxic to man, beneficial insects and livestock. Biological control could be alternative to chemical control. Therefore in this paper, the use of entomopathogenic nematode species Steinernema and Heterorhabditis, their mass production, formulation and application technologies and effects of environmental factors on them are reviewed.
