Görme Engelliler Eğitimi Anabilim Dalı Öğrencilerine Yönelik Programlı Bir Müze Ziyareti

Geleceğin öğretmen adayları müzede eğitimin önemi, gerekliliği ve öğrenmeye kazanımları konusunda bilinçlendirilmelidir. Eğitimde müzelerden daha verimli faydalanabilmek için müze ziyareti hangi amaca ve gruba yönelik ise ona uygun bir program hazırlanmalıdır. Bu' amaçtan hareketle araştırmada, Gazi Eğitim Fakültesi, Görme Engelliler Eğitimi Anabilim Dalı öğrencilerine yönelik, öğrenme potansiyeli yüksek programlı bir müze ziyareti düzenlenmiştir. 30 öğrenci ile 03 Mayıs 2007 tarihinde Anadolu Medeniyetleri Müzesi ziyaret edilmiştir. Aynı gün, aynı sınıfta okuyan total kör olan bir öğrenci için de ayrıca dokunarak öğrenmeye yönelik bir program oluşturulmuştur. Böylece geleceğin öğretmenlerine, mesleklerinde kullanabilecekleri bir yöntem ve deneyim ya-şatılmıştır. Araştırma tarama modelindedir. Öğrencilerin ön anket ve son ankete verdiği cevaplar ve çalışma kağıdı tablolaştırılmış; sonuçlar frekans ve yüzde olarak verilmiş ve yorumlanmıştır. Araştırmanın sonucunda, öğrencilerin müzede daha ilgili ve istekli olduğu görülmüş, akıcı, esnek ve özgün düşünmeleri gerçekleştirilmiş ve kalıcı öğrenme sağlanmıştır.

A Programmed Museum Visit for the Students of the Department of Education for the Visually Impaired

The candidates of school teacher must be informed on issues such as; importance, necessity and contributions to learning of education in Museum. In order to use museums more effectively in education; program for museum visit, should be prepared according to the aim and the group configuration of visit. To start from above mentioned aim, a museum visit which has a great teaching potential was prepared for the students of The Department of Education for The Visually Impaired/Faculty of Education/Gazi University in this research. Museum of Anatolian Civilizations was visited by the 30 student on the May. 3. 2007. Besides, an educational program which is based on the concept of “learning through touch” was established for a blind student of the same class at the same day. Therefore, school teacher candidates have been experienced on a procedure which they can use in their future profession. The method of research is scanning. The answers given by the student to the first and last questionnaire and the working paper were tabularized. The results were given as frequency and percentage and analyzed. At the end of the research, it has been observed that the students become more interested and eager in museum. Through this exercise durable learning, flexible and unique thinking has been achieved and for the students.
