Global krize karşı politika önlemleri ve Türkiye

Küresel ekonomi, öncelikle gelişmiş ekonomilerde başgösteren finansal krizin etkisiyle büyük bir sıkıntı yaşamaktadır. Sistemi düzeltmeye ve güveni tekrar inşa etmeye yönelik başta gelişmiş ülkelerde olmak üzere tüm dünyada önlemler alınmaktadır. Bunlardan biri olan politika faiz oranları indirimi, yetersiz kalmış ve merkez bankaları, sadece "tek enstrüman (kısa vadeli politika faiz oranı) ve tek hedef (fiyat istikrarı)" politikalarından dolayı eleştirilmiştir. Diğer taraftan, tamamlayıcı nitelikte mali önlemler uygulamaya konmuştur. Ancak, mali paketler de mali sürdürülebilirlik ve borç dinamikleri üzerinde bir risk oluşturmaktadır. Bu çalışma da, küresel finansal krizin ekonomiye etkilerini makroekonomik göstergelerle ortaya koyacak ve küresel küçülmeye karşı politika önlemlerine değinecektir.

Policy responses to global crisis and Turkey

Global economy is showing strains on a large scale with the impact of the current financial crisis that firstly broke out in developed economies. Measures to repair the system and restore confidence are taken all over the world notably in developed countries. In terms of monetary policy, rapid policy interest cut has been inadequate for rapid response and central banks have been criticized for only "single measure (short-term policy interest rate) and single target (price stability) " policy. On the other hand, complementary fiscal measures have entered into practice. However, fiscal packages pose risk on fiscal sustainability and debt dynamics. This paper analyses the impact of global financial crisis on the economy with macroeconomic indicators and policy to give response to global contracts.
