KANT’TA TANRININ İŞLEVİ: SPEKÜLATİF TEOLOJİDEN MORAL TEOLOJİYE

Felsefe tarihinin “büyük” filozoﬂarının pek çoğu sistemlerinin belirli bir bö- lümünde tanrıyı bilgi ya da inanç nesnesi olarak ileri sürmüş görünürler. Bu bakımdan felsefî sistemlerde genellikle bir hareket ya da varış noktası olarak ortaya konulan Tanrı kavramı, Kant’a kadar teorik ya da spekülatif temellen- dirmelerin odağında bulunur. Kant ile birlikte bilginin olanağının koşullarından birinin deney olarak belirlenmesi ile birlikte spekülatif Tanrı tanıtlamalarının geçerliliği şüpheli hale gelir. Bu bağlamda bu çalışma, aklın teorik kullanımın- da temellendirilemeyen Tanrı kavramının Kant tarafından saf akıl inancı olarak ortaya konulmasının mahiyetine odaklanmaktadır. Bu amaca binaen ilkin Tanrı idesi, transendental ideal ve spekülatif teoloji Saf Aklın Eleştirisi bağlamında ele alınacak; sonrasında ise spekülatif teolojinin olanaksızlığından hareketle Kant’ın moral teolojisinin ayrıntılarına değinilecektir.

THE FUNCTION OF GOD IN KANT: FROM SPECULATIVE THEOLOGY TO MORAL THEOLOGY

Many of the “great” philosophers of the history of philosophy appear to assert God as an object of knowledge or of belief in a certain part of their system. In this respect, the concept of God, which is usually expressed as a point of movement or destination in philosophical systems, has been the focus of theoretical or speculative bases until Kant. The validity of the demonstrations of a speculative God becomes doubtful as one of the conditions of possibility of knowledge is set as an experiment in Kant. In this context, this study focuses on the nature of putting the concept of God, which cannot be based on the theoretical use of reason, as the faith of pure reason by Kant. Pursuant to this goal, firstly idea of god, transcendental ideal and speculative theology will be handled in the context of The Critique of Pure Reason; then the details of Kant’s moral theology will be discussed with reference to the impossibility of speculative theology.
