Sıvıların yahut gazların karışımı bir iletişimdir; ses, ışık yahut ısının yayınımı iletişimdir; mütecanis yahut gayrı mütecanis cisimlerin meydana getirdiği sistemli olaylar birer iletişimdir; kısacası her türlü hareket aslında iletişimdir.

Communication, system, and philosophy: Introduction to the communicational system philosophy

The language is essentially a system of communication. Yet, it is generally understood the speech when the language is in question. As De Saussure points out the speech, even very significant, is only a part of the language. The speech is many-sided and heterogeneous while the language is a homogeneous whole and a principle of classification. Having taken as a system of communication, the limits of the concept of language are pretty wide. We do not only communicate information, but also knowledge, opinion, idea, experience, wish, imperative, and emotion to each other. Furthermore, the communication is not restricted to humans; power, weakness, disease, heat, and even motion are subject to communication. The mixture of liquids and gases, the diffusion of sound, light and heat, the systematic events that are produced by the homogeneous or the heterogeneous bodies, in short every kind of motion are communications. The position of the concept of communication in a point of intersection between linguistics, education, art, physics, chemistry, and even ontology has made it a real philosophical problem. In my paper, the contemporary understandings toward communication as the essence of language will be evaluated, and the possibility of a communicational system philosophy will be undertaken.
