KUTSALI TOPYEKÛN DÖNÜŞTÜRME ÇABASI: LENİN VE STALİN DÖNEMİNDE SOVYETLER BİRLİĞİ’NİN DİN POLİTİKASI

Rusya tarihinde bir çağın kapanıp yenisinin açılmasına sebep olan Ekim Devrimi ile beraber iktidarı ele geçiren Sovyet yönetimi ve asırlardır Rus halkına nüfuz etmiş, toplumun bir nevi kimliğini yansıtan Rus Ortodoks Kilisesi arasında çetin bir mücadele başlar. Din karşıtı yeni yönetim kiliseye açtığı savaşı, kilisenin devrim karşıtı olması ve burjuva sınıfına hizmet ederek, ezilen fakir halkın sömürülmesine ön ayak olması gibi gerekçelerle haklı bir dava olarak görürken; kilise de Sovyet ideolojisini din karşıtı olmakla ve dini değerlere karşı düşmanca bir tutum içerisine girmekle itham eder. Bu çalışmada, Sovyet ideolojisinin kutsala yönelik algısı değerlendirilmekte ve yaklaşık yetmiş yıl sürecek kutsalla mücadele sürecinin V. Lenin ve İ. Stalin idaresince uygulanan propaganda yöntemleri incelenmektedir.

Struggle for Total Transformation of the Sacred: The Religious Policy of the Soviet Union in Lenin and Stalin Period

A tough struggle begins between the Soviet administration that seized power with the October Revolution, which led to the opening of a new era in Russia's history, and the Russian Orthodox Church, which has influenced the Russian people for centuries reflecting a kind of identity for them. While the new anti-religion administration sees the war against the church as justified by the fact that the church is anti-revolutionary and serves the bourgeois class that leads to the exploitation of the oppressed poor people; the church also accuses the Soviet ideology of being anti-religious and hostile to religious values. This study evaluates the perception of Soviet ideology towards the sacred and examines the Lenin and Stalin period of anti-religious propaganda process which actually lasted for seventy years.
