Güncel sosyal bilimler felsefesine dair bir tartışma: Öznenin ölümü ve sonrası

Modern felsefeye yöneltilen postmodern eleştiriler, modern epistemolojinin birçok temel kavramve kategorisinin yeniden tanımlanıp düzenlenmesini gerektiren koşullar yaratmıştır. Bu makalemodern epistemolojinin en önemli kavramlarından biri olan öznelliğin yeniden tanımlanmasınakatkıda bulunmayı amaçlamaktadır. Bu doğrultuda, postmodernistlerin Öznenin ölümü şeklindedile getirdikleri iddiayı ve buna karşı çıkan görüşlerin argümanlarını özetler. Kavramın tarihselkökeninin sahip olduğu zengin içeriği vurgulamanın, söz konusu karşı çıkışlara ve kavramınyeniden tanımlanma sürecine faydalı olacağını savunur.

A debate on contemporary philosophy of social sciences: Death of the subject and afterwards

The postmodern critiques of modern philosophy creates a condition in which many basic notionsand categories of modern epistemology are needed to be rearranged and redefined. This articleaims to contribute to the attempts of redefining the subjectivityone of the most importantnotions of modern epistemology. It sums up both the so-called claim The Death of the Subject of postmodernists and the arguments of the objections against it. It argues that emphasizingthe substantiality of the notion s historical origin will be beneficial for those objections and theredefining process of the notion itself.
