Çevre sorunlarına ilişkin uluslararası rejimler

Belirli çevre sorunlarına ilişkin uluslararası çapta rejim oluşturma çabalarının ele alındığı bu çalışmada, ilk olarak söz konusu rejimlerin aktörleri olarak hükümetlerarası ve hükümetlerdışı uluslararası örgütlerin üstlendikleri roller ile çevre konusunda izledikleri politikalar üzerinde durulmaktadır. Ardından, ele alınan belli başlı uluslararası çevre rejimlerinin oluşum süreçleri, uygulanma ve denetim mekanizmalarının işleyişi analiz edilmeye çalışılmaktadır. Sonuç olarak da, bu rejimlerin genel olarak başarı ve etkinlik durumları değerlendirilmekte; başarılı veya başarısız olmalarının arkasında yatan nedenlere ışık tutulmaya çalışılmaktadır.

International regimes on environmental issues

This article is focused on the attempts of regime-building for some of the particular environmental issues at international level. Firstly; as actors of these regimes, the international governmental and non-governmental organizations and their roles/policies on environmental issues are discussed. Furthermore; the formation processes, implementation and control mechanisms of the underlying international environmental regimes are tried to be analyzed. In conclusion, the states of overall success and effectiveness of these regimes are evaluated while enlightening the factors behind their success or failure.
