Effect of tacit knowledge on performance: An application of international bank

Today, leveraging knowledge sources for organizations to obtain sustainable competitive advantage is important. Moreover, tacit side of knowledge forms the unseen part of the iceberg. The aim of this study is to construct a valid model in order to measure the impacts of tacit knowledge on institutional and individual performance, and to test the results empirically. Five point likert scale, which includes questions measuring individual and institutional performance and employees’ level of tacit knowledge, was conducted. One of the most significant findings of the study is that there is a positive lineer correlation between tacit knowledge, individual and institutional performance.
