Amerika Birleşik Devletleri'nde popülist yeni sağ: Çay partisi hareketi

1773 Boston Çay Partisi olayından esinlenen Çay Partisi hareketi, Barack Obama’nın Amerika BirleşikDevletleri’nin ilk Afrika kökenli Amerikalı başkanı olarak seçilmesinin hemen ardından, 2009’un ilkaylarında çeşitli toplantı ve gösteri yürüyüşleriyle iç politikada etkili olamaya başlamıştır. Bir politikpartiye dönüşmeden sivil bir inisiyatif biçiminde örgütlenen hareket Amerikan sağındaki yeni eğilimleribünyesinde toplayan bir çatı organizasyonudur. Bu çalışmada Amerikan toplumunun dengelerindemeydana getirebileceği olası etkileri nedeniyle Çay Partisi hareketinin küresel ölçekte etkileri olabileceğiiddia edilmektedir.

The new populist right in United States of America: Tea party movement

The Tea Party movement which was inspired by the case of 1773 Boston Tea Party, began to beinfluential in domestic politics in US by several meetings and protest marches from the date of the firstmonths of 2009, immediately after the Barack Obama's election as the first African-American president.The movement, organized in the form of a civil action initiative without turning into a political party, isan umbrella organization which collects the new rightist trends in US domestic politics. In this study, it isclaimed that Tea Party may couse some effects on a global scale due to its possible effects on the balanceof the American society.
