Kadın Girişimciler ve Turizm: Mevcut Durum ve Sorunlar Üzerine Sinop İlinde Bir Araştırma

Araştırmada turizme girişimci olarak katkı sunan kadınların mevcut durumu, toplumsal cinsiyet perspektifinden analizi, bölge turizmine etkisi tespit edilmeye çalışılacaktır. Araştırma alanı olarak Sinop ili belirlenmiş; araştırma yöntemi olarak nitel yaklaşım kapsamında veri toplama tekniği olarak yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme gerçekleştirilmiştir. Veri analiz yöntemi olarak içerik analizi yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Mülakatlar Sinop ilinde ikamet eden; yöresel ürünler, butik restoranlar ve el sanatları gibi turistlerin ilgisini çeken turistik ürünler hazırlayan ve sunan kadın girişimciler ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bulgular Sinop ilinde ikamet eden kadın girişimcilerin rol çatışması, zaman darlığı ya da rol ayrımcılığı gibi bazı sosyolojik problemler ile karşı karşıya kaldıklarını, ancak kadının girişimci ve turizmci olarak çalışmasının önündeki engellerin zamanla azaldığını ve toplumun pozitif algı oluşturmaya katkı sunduğunu göstermektedir.

Women Entrepreneurs and Tourism: An Investıgation on the Current Situation and Problems in Sinop Provinc

It will be determined to the current situation of women contributing to the tourism as an entrepreneur; the analysis from the gender perspective and the effects on region tourism in research. Sinop province was determined as a research area; a semistructured interview was conducted as a data collection technique within the qualitative approach as a research method. Content analysis method was used as data analysis method. Interviews were performed with women entrepreneurship who has been resided in Sinop province and prepared, presented touristic product like local products, boutique restaurants, and handicrafts. Data shows that women entrepreneurs who have been resided in Sinop faced to some sociological problems such as role conflict, time limitation or role discrimination but the obstacles in front of women's work as entrepreneur and tourism professional decrease over time and the society contribute to creating a positive perception.
