Sosyal Hizmet Uygulamasında Din ve Maneviyatın Rolü (SHUDMR) Ölçeğinin Türkçeye Uyarlanması: Güvenirlik ve Geçerlik Çalışması

Bu araştırma, Sheridan (2000) tarafından geliştirilen Sosyal Hizmet Uygulamasında Din ve Maneviyatın Rolü (SHUDMR) Ölçeğinin Türkçe uyarlamasını ve geçerlik-güvenirlik analizlerini içermektedir. Ölçeğin amacı, sosyal hizmet uygulamasında dinin veya maneviyatın rolü hakkındaki katılımcıların görüşlerini saptamaya çalışmaktadır. Çalışma grubunu 730 üniversite öğrencisi oluşturmaktadır. Ölçeğin yapı geçerliliğinin saptanmasında Açımlayıcı Faktör Analizi (AFA) ve Doğrulayıcı Faktör Analizi (DFA) kullanılmıştır. AFA sonrasında 16 madde ve tek boyut oluşmuştur. Ölçeğin açıkladığı toplam varyans oranı %30,10 ve öz değeri %4,81’dir. AFA’ya ilişkin modelin doğrulanması için DFA yapılmıştır. DFA sonucu 3 madde ölçekten çıkarılmıştır. Ölçeğin bir faktörden oluştuğu ve uyum endekslerinin uygun olduğu saptanmıştır (x²/sd (176,252/300=1,592), RMSEA .71, GFI .92, AGFI .89, IFI .91 ve CFI .91). Doğrulayıcı faktör analizi sonucunda elde edilen uyum indeksleri, ölçeğin tek faktörlü bir yapıda olduğunu doğrulamıştır. Ölçeğin güvenirlik çalışması ise Cronbach Alpha katsayısı .82 olarak hesaplanmıştır. Bu sonuçlar, ölçeğin Türkçeye uygun geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçme aracı olduğunu göstermektedir.

Adapting the Scaling of the Role of Religion and Spirituality in Social Service Practice (RRSSP) to Turkish: Study of Validity and Reliability

The current study includes validity and reliability analysis of the Role of Religion and Spirituality in Social Service Practice (RRSSP) Scale developed by Sheridan (2000), and its adaptation into Turkish. The aim of scale is to identify the views of participants about the role of religion or spirituality in social work practice. 730 university students participated in the study. Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) and Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) were used in order to determine the scale’s construct validity. After the EFA, 16 items and one factors generated. Total variance rate and total eigenvalue that the scale explains are %30,10 and %4,81 respectively. EFA was performed to confirm the model of the CFA. As a result of CFA 3 items were removed from the scale. It was determined that the scale was consisted of one factor and the fit indices of the model represented x²/sd (176,252/300=1,592), RMSEA .71, GFI .92, AGFI .89, IFI .91 ve CFI .91. The compliance indices obtained because of confirmatory factor analysis confirm that the scale is a one-factor structure. The reliability of the scale was calculated by the Cronbach Alpha coefficient of .82. These findings demonstrated that the scale was a valid and reliable measurement tool suitable for Turkish.
