İnsan Ticaretinin Cinsel Sömürü Boyutu: Cinsel Sömürü Karşıtı Kampanya Afişleri Üzerine İnceleme

Cinsel sömürü, insan ticaretinin önemli bir boyutunu meydana getirmektedir. Her yıl çok sayıda insan ticareti mağduru, cinsel sömürüye maruz kalmakta ve seks işçisi olarak çalıştırılmaya zorlanmaktadır. Mağdurlar kimi zaman kaçak yollardan girdikleri ülkelerden atılmakla tehdit edilerek kimi zaman da şiddet yoluyla seks işçisi olarak çalıştırılmaktadır. Bu aşamada ulusal ve uluslararası kuruluşlar tarafından cinsel sömürünün önlenmesine yönelik kampanyalar hazırlanarak cinsel sömürüye karşı duyarlılık oluşturulması amaçlanmaktadır. Çalışma kapsamında insan ticaretinde cinsel sömürüyü konu alan kampanyalarda verilmek istenen mesajların açıklanması, cinsel sömürü mağdurlarının ne şekilde sunulduğunun ortaya konulması amaçlanmaktadır. Bu amaçla uluslararası alanda hazırlanan kampanyalar içerisinden amaçlı örneklem metodu kullanılarak belirlenen, son yıllarda ön plana çıkan 6 kampanya afişi nitel araştırma yöntemleri içerisinde yer alan göstergebilimsel analiz yöntemi kullanılarak ele alınmıştır. Çalışmada kampanya afişleri Fransız dilbilimci Roland Barthes'ın göstergebilim anlayışı ışığında analiz edilmiştir. Elde edilen bulgular bağlamında kampanyalarda, hüzün duygusu ön plana çıkarılarak cinsel sömürü mağdurlarının sunulduğu ve cinsel sömürünün sonlanması için kitlelerin yetkililer ile işbirliği içerisine girmesinin teşvik edilmeye çalışıldığı ortaya çıkarılmıştır.

The Sexual Exploitation Dimension of The Human Trafficking: The Examination on The Posters of Campaigns Against The Sexual Exploitation

Sexual exploitation constitutes an important dimension of human trafficking. Many victims of human trafficking are subjected to sexual exploitation and forced to work as sex workers every year. At this stage, it is aimed to raise awareness against sexual exploitation and to prevent sexual exploitation, preparing campaigns by national and international organizations. Within the scope of this study, it is aimed to explain the messages that are intended to be given and to reveal how victims of sexual exploitation are presented in campaigns about sexual exploitation in human trafficking. For this purpose, six campaign posters which were determined by using the purposive sampling method among the campaigns prepared in the international field were anayzed by using semiotic analysis method which is one of the qualitative research methods. The posters of the campaign were examined in the light of French linguist Roland Barthes' semiotics understanding. In the context of the findings, it was found that victims of sexual exploitation were presented with the sense of sadness and attempts were made to encourage the masses to cooperate with the authorities to terminate sexual exploitation.
