Türkiye fındık faresinde (Muscardinus avellanarius, L., 1758) molarların çiğneme yüzeylerinin yapısı

Bu çalışmada Türkiye fîndıkfaresinin molarlannın çiğneme yüzeylerinin yapısı ilk kez araştırılarak bu yapıyla ilgili morfotipler saptandı ve molar ölçüleri kaydedildi. Daha sonra bu morfotipler ve molar ölçüleri bilinen bazı fosil formlardakilerle karşılaştırıldı. Sonuçta bu özellikler bakımından aktüel Türkiye Muscardinus avellanarius'un fosil taksa içinde M. avellanarius'& daha yakın olduğu teyit edildi.

Chewing surface structure of molars in Turkish hazelnut mouse (Muscardinus avellanarius, L., 1758)

Chewing surface structure of Turkish hazelnut mouse molars was studied for the first time and morphotypes and measurement of molars involved this structure were determined in this study. Then, these morphotypes and measurement of molars were compared with some fossil forms. As a result actual Turkish Muscardinus avellanarius was confirmed close to M. avellanarius in fossil taxa in respect to these characteristics.
