ARISTOTELES VE KANT’TA SORUMLULUK

Sorumluluk, çok farklı bağlamlarda kullanılan son derece karmaşık bir kavramdır. Sorumluluk, günümüzde hem günlük yaşamda sıkça dile getirilen, hem de ahlak felsefesinde konu edinilen temel kavramlardan biridir. Bu çalışmada, günümüz sorumluluk anlayışını biçimlendirmesi ve anlamlı kılması bakımından, Aristotelesçi ve Kantçı sorumluluk anlayışı üzerinde durulmaktadır. Bu amaçla, öncelikle Aristotelesçi etik anlayış ve sorumluluk kavramı ele alınmaktadır. İkinci olarak, Kantçı etik yaklaşım ve sorumluluk anlayışı ortaya konulmaktadır. Son olarak, her iki düşünürün sorumluluk kavramını anlamlandırmasına ve gerekçelendirmesine ilişkin benzerlikler ve farklılıklar gösterilmeye çalışılmaktadır. Ayrıca, çalışma, geleneksel sorumluluk kavramının günümüz sorumluluk anlayışı açısından yeterli olup olamayacağı konusunda bir bakış açısı sunmaktadır.

RESPONSIBILITY IN ARISTOTLE AND KANT

Responsibility is an extremely complex concept used in many different contexts. Being one of the fundamental concepts, responsibility is frequently referred to in daily life and, at the same time, is the subject of moral philosophy. This study focuses on the Aristotelian and Kantian understanding of responsibility which shapes and makes sense of today's concept of responsibility. To this end, first of all, we consider the Aristotelian concept of ethical understanding and responsibility. Secondly, the Kantian ethical approach and understanding of responsibility are introduced. Finally, we will try to show the similarities and differences in the meaning and justification of the concept of responsibility. Furthermore, the study examines whether the traditional concept of responsibility can be sufficient from the point of view of today's understanding of the concept of responsibility.
