Yaban Domuzlarında (Sus scrofa) Neurocranium'u Oluşturan Kemiklerin Makro-Anatomik Olarak İncelenmesi

Bu çalışma, yaban domuzlarında neurocraniumu oluşturan kemiklerin spesifik anatomik özelliklerini araştırmak amacıyla yapıldı. Bu amaçla her iki cinsiyetten toplam 5 adet yaban domuzu kullanıldı. Neurocranium; os occipitale, os sphenoidale, os pterygoideum, os ethmoidale, vomer, os temporale, os parietale ve os frontaleden oluştu. Proc. jugularisler ventrale doğruydu. Crista sagittalis externa yoktu. Linea temporalis, os parietaleyi planum parietale ve planum temporale olmak üzere iki kısma ayırmıştı. Os interparietale, squama occipitalis ile birleşmişti. Processus mastoideus belirgin değildi. Sonuç olarak, yaban domuzunda neurocraniumu oluşturan kemiklerin makroskopik olarak büyük ölçüde evcil domuza benzerlik gösterdiği tespit edildi.

The Macro-Anatomical Study of the Bones Forming Neurocranium in Wild Boar (Sus scrofa)

This study was carried out to investigate the specific anatomical features of the bones forming neurocranium in the wild boars. A total of five animals were used regardless of the gender. Neurocranium was consisted of os occipitale, os sphenoidale, os pterygoideum, os ethmoidale, vomer, os temporale, os parietale and os frontale. The jugular process projected ventrally. The external sagittal crest was absent. The temporal line divided the os parietale into parietal plane and temporal plane. The interparietal bone fused the squamous part of occipital bone. The mastoid process was indistinct. In conclusion, it was determined that macroscopically, the bones forming neurocranium was similar to domestic pig.
