Haematologıcal Profıle Before and After Parturıtıon ın Cows Sufferıng From Dystocıa

In this study, it was aimed to determine the hematological parameters before and 1 week after dystocia in cows. Twenty seven 3-8 years old, crossbreed (Brown Swiss X Simmental) dystocia cows were used in the present research. Red blood cell, leucocyte, hemoglobine, hematocrite, leucocyte formulation, average volume of red blood cell, average volume of red blood cell hemoglobine, average volume of red blood cell hemoglobin concentration were determined. The data were evaluated statistically and difference between values before and after dystocia were determined. There were statistically significant increases in values of red blood cell, average volume of red blood cell hemoglobine and lymphocyte rate while the leucocyte, hemoglobine, average volume of red blood cell and monocyte rate were decreased significantly. As a result, changes hematological parameters in the cows may be due to dystocia.
