Elazığ Yöresinde İshalli Neonatal Kuzu ve Oğlakların Bazı İshal Etkenlerinin Hızlı Test Kitleri İle Teşhisi
Bu çalışmanın amacı, Elazığ yöresinde ishalli kuzu ve oğlaklarda Cryptosporidium parvum,Clostridium perfringes, Rotavirus, Escherichia coli F5, epsilon toksin, miks enfeksiyon oranlarınıFASTest ticari kitleri kullanılarak belirlemek ve neonatal ishalin patogenezisinde rol oynayanetkenlerin oluşturduğu klinik tabloyu tespit etmektir. Araştırma materyali olarak, Mart-Temmuz 2016tarihlerinde Elazığ yöresinde farklı bölgelerde bulunan ve Fırat Üniversitesi Hayvan Hastanesi’negetirilen 1-28 günlük 113’ü kuzu ve 37’si oğlak olmak üzere toplam 150 ishalli hayvan kullanılmıştır.Kuzu ve oğlaklardan alınan gaita örneklerinde FASTest ticari kitleri kullanılarak, C. parvum, Cl.perfringes, Rotavirus, E. coli F5, ve Epsilon Toksin taraması yapılmıştır. Bu araştırmada neonatalishalli kuzuların 2 (%2)’sinde rotavirus, 10 (%9)’unda E. coli F5, 11 (%10)’inde C. parvum, 39(%34)’unda Cl. perfringes, 12 (%10)’sinde epsilon toksin, 13 (%12)’ünde miks enfeksiyon ve 26(%23)’sında diğer ishal etkenleri tespit edilmiştir. Neonatal ishalli oğlakların 8 (%22)’inde rotavirus,6 (%16)’sında C. parvum, 5 (%14)’inde Cl. perfringes, 1 (%3)’inde epsilon toksin, 6 (%16)’sındamiks enfeksiyon ve 11 (%29)’inde diğer ishal etkenleri saptanmıştır. Oğlaklarda ishal etkeni olarakE. coli F5 tespit edilememiştir.
Diagnosis of Some Diarrhea Agents with Rapid Test Kits in Lambs and Kids with Neonatal Diarrhea in Elazig Province
The aim of this study was to determine using FASTest commercial kits the infection rates of Cryptosporidium parvum, Clostridium perfringes, Rotavirus, Escherichia coli F5, epsilon toxin, mix in lamb and kid with diarrhea in Elazig region and to determine the clinical picture formed by the factors that play a role in the pathogenesis of neonatal diarrhea. As a research material, a total of 150 diarrhea animals were used, ranging from 1-28 days old, 113 lambs and 37 kids, brought to Firat University Animal Hospital in different regions in Elazig region in March-July 2016. The fecal samples taken from the lambs and the kids were screened for C. parvum, Cl. perfringes, Rotavirus, E. coli F5, and Epsilon toxin using FASTest commercial kits. In this study, rotavirus in 2 (2%), E. coli F5 in 10 (9%), C. parvum in 11 (10%), Cl. perfringes in 39 (34%), epsilon toxin in 12 (10%), mixed infection in 13 (12%) and diarrhea due to other causes in 26 (23%) of neonatal diarrhea lambs were found. Rotavirus in 8 (22%), C. parvum in 6 (16%), Cl. perfringes in 5 (14%), epsilon toxin in 1 (3%), mixed infection in 6 (16%) and diarrhea due to other causes in 11 (29%) of neonatal diarrhea of kids were identified. E. coli F5 was not detected in any of cases used in this study.
