Okul Müdürlerinin Mizah Yeteneğinin Öğretmenlerin İş Doyumlarına Etkisi

Eğitim geleneksel olarak çok ciddi ve disiplinli bir aktivite olarak algılanmıştır. Okullar disiplinle, standart sınav sonuçlarıyla, hedefleriyle ve sahip oldukları ustalık ve yeterlilikle oldukça sıkıcı yerlere dönüşmüştür. Öğretmenler ve öğrenciler sıklıkla okulun ve öğrenmenin eğlenceli olmadığını söylemektedirler. Bu çalışma, okul müdürlerinin öğretmenler tarafından algılanan mizah yeteneklerini kullanma sıklığını ve müdürlerin mizah yeteneklerini kullanmalarının öğretmenlerin iş doyumuna etkilerini araştırmak için yapılmıştır. Çalışma ayrıca, öğretmenlerin iş doyumunun müdürlerinin mizah yeteneklerini farklı gruplarda kullanmalarından nasıl etkilendiğini de analiz etmiştir. Çalışmanın sonuçları, işyerinde mizah yeteneklerini paylaşan müdürlerin, paylaşmayanlara ya da çok az paylaşanlara göre daha yüksek iş doyumu olan öğretmenlere sahip oldukları fikrini desteklemektedir.
