Bu araştırmada, yönetici (müdür) adaylarının okul psikolojik danışmanlarından görev beklentileri düzeylerinin çeşitli değişkenlere göre anlamlı bir farklılık gösterip göstermediği incelenmiştir. Araştırma, 3-21 Temmuz 2000 tarihleri arasında hizmetiçi eğitim seminerine katılan 109 yönetici adayı üzerinde yürütülmüştür. Veri elde etmek için "Kişisel Bilgi Formu" ve "Rehberlik Uzmanlarından Görev Beklentileri Envanteri" kullanılmıştır. Toplanan veriler, Mann-Whitney U Testi, bağımsız gruplarda t-testi, Kruskal Wallis Testi ve Scheffé Testi ile çözümlenmiştir. Elde edilen bulgulara göre, yönetici adaylarının okul psikolojik danışmanlarından görev beklenti düzeyleri, cinsiyete, mezun olunan fakülteye ve kıdeme göre anlamlı farklılık göstermemiştir. Bir sorunla karşılaşıldığında başvurulan yardım kaynağına ve okulda, okul psikolojik danışmanının olup olmadığına göre anlamlı farklılık göstermiştir.

This study investigated whether the duty expectation levels of candidate administrators from school counsellors showed any significant difference according to some variables. The data was gathered from 109 candidate administrators who participated in an in-service training seminar held between the dates 3rd and 21st July 2000. A "Personal Information Form" and an "Inventory of Duty Expectations From Guidance Experts" were used to collect data. The data was analysed using Mann Whitney U Test, t-test on independent groups, Kruskall Wallis Test and Scheffé Test. According to the results, of this research, duty expectation levels of candidate administrators from school counsellors did not show a significant difference according to sex, faculty from which they graduated and seniority However, it showed a significant difference according to the source of help applied to when a problem occurs and whether or not there is a school counsellor in the school.
