Floroskopi rehberliğinde göğüs duvarından yabancı cisim çıkarılması

Yumuşak doku içindeki özellikle metalik ve sivri uçlu yabancı cisimler migrasyona uğrayabilmekte ve komplikasyonlara yol açabilmektedir. Söz konusu materyallerin tam yerinin saptanması ve çıkarılabilmesi için çeşitli yöntemler denenmektedir. Bu yazıda, göğüs duvarına saplanıp kırılmış iğne ucunun floroskopi eşliğinde çıkarıldığı bir olgu sunulmuştur. Bu yöntem eşliğinde yapılan cerrahi girişimin radyoopak yabancı cismin kesin anlık lokalizasyonunu sağladığı, doku diseksiyonunu minimalize ettiği, cerrahi işlem süresini kısalttığı ve postoperatif morbiditeyi azalttığı kanısındayız.

Removal of a foreign body from the chest wall guided by fluoroscopy

Foreign bodies which are metallic and sharp-pointed in particular in soft tissue may migrate and lead to some complications. Various methods are applied for detection and removal of these materials. In this report, we present removal of a stuck and broken needle tip from the chest wall with the aid of fluoroscopy. The exact and instantaneous location of radiopaque foreign body can be determined by fluoroscopy. We think that this method may minimize surgical dissection, shorten the duration of the surgical procedure and reduce postoperative morbidity.
