Ulusötesi milliyetçilik bağlamında Avrupa Kürt diasporası

Diaspora konusu son yıllarda birçok teorik ve ampir ik çalışmanın konusu olmuştur. Hızlaküreselleşen dünyada, uluslararası göç ler, ulaşım ve iletişim sistemlerindeki gelişmeler, diasporatopluluklarınıanavatanın ve yeni vatanın marjinine yerleştirmiştir . Türkiye‟den Avrupa‟nın çeşitliülkelerine yaşanan göçler, Avrupa‟da bir Kürt diasporasının oluşumunu sağladı. Buçalışma,Avrupa‟daki Kürt diasporasını literatürdeki teorik ve ampirik tartışmalar ışığında elealmaktadır. Çalışmanın birinci bölüm ün de, diaspora, ulusötesi ilişkiler ve uzak mesafe milliyetçilikgibi kavramlar konusundaki teorik tartışmalar irdelenirken, ikinci bölümü nde is e Avrupa Kürtdiasporasının tarihi arkaplanı, sosyal ağları ve yayın organları analiz edilmektedir. Araştırmasonuçları, Avrupa Kürt diasporasının oldukça canlı ve dinamik bir topluluk olduğunu göstermektedir.Kürt diasporası, sadece diasporadaki Kürtler a rasında ağlar geliştirmek ve dayanışma sağlamaklayetinmemekte, aynı zamanda anavatandaki gelişmeler, çatışmalar ve geçmiş hakkındaki hafızayı canlıtutmaktadır. Bu nedenle, oldukça politize olan Kürt diasporası, Türkiye‟deki etnik çatışmalar vesiyasi müc adeleler konusunda keskin pozisyonlar almaktadır.

Transnationalism in context: The Kurdish diaspora in europe

In recent years, there has been a growing interest in the Diasporas. International migrations, thedevelopments in the transportation and communication systems put the Diasporas at the margins ofthe home and host countries in the highly globalized world . The out migration of Kurdish populationto European countries has resulted in the creation of Kurdish diaspora in Europe. Therefore, thisstudy examines the Kurdish diaspora in Europe in the light of theoretical and empirical debates in theliterature. In the first part of the study, theoretical debates over dia spora, transnationalism, and longdistance nationalism are explored. In the second part of the study, the historical background, socialnetworks, and media outlets are analysed. The results of the study show that Kurdish diaspora is avibrant and dynamic c ommunity. It not only provides a social network and solidarity among theimmigrants in the host country, but also keeps the memories of thepast, conflicts and developments inhome countries alive. As a result, Kurdish diaspora is quite political in its stand and takes strongpositions about ethnic conflicts and political struggles back home.
