Flor, çocuk diş sağlığı ve Türkiye

Ülkemizde çocuklarda yüksek oranda diş çürüğü bulunmaktadır. Kullanım sularında bulunan flor konsantrasyonunun düşük olması diş çürümesine neden olan olaylar içinde önemli bir yere sahiptir. Bu makalede florun diş sağlığı üzerinde, özellikle çocuklarda çürük önleme etkisi, koruyucu yöntemleri ve ülkemizdeki durum derlenmiştir.

Flour, dental health of children and Turkey

The percentage of tooth caries in Turkish children is quite high. Low fluor concentration in community water is an important factor for the development of tooth caries. The effect of fluor on dental health of children, preventive measures for tooth caries and current situation in Turkey have been reviewed in this article.
