Yenibademli Höyük’te Bulunmuş Olan Bir Grup Çömleğin Değerlendirilmesi: Adalarda Yerel Bir Gelenek

Gelibolu Yarımadası açıklarındaki Gökçeada’da (İmbros) bulunan Yenibademli Höyük, Kuzey Ege ve BatıAnadolu arasındaki ilişkilere ışık tutan yerleşim yerlerinden birisidir. Şimdiye kadar burada yürütülençalışmalar, Troya ile önemli ölçüde benzerlik sergileyen küçük bir yerleşimi açığa çıkartmakla kalmamış,Anadolu’nun Ege Dünyası ile kurduğu ilişkiler ağının niteliği hakkında, Poliochni ve Thermi ile birliktefikir sahibi olmamızı da sağlamıştır. Aşağıda Yenibademli’de 1996’dan itibaren yürütülmekte olan kazılar sırasında ele geçen bir grup çömlek tanıtılacaktır. Söz konusu eserler bir taraftan Troia, diğer taraftandiğer iki ada yerleşimi olan Poliochni ve Thermi malzemesi ile paralellikler sergilemekle birlikte, şimdiyekadar bu bölgede karşımıza çıkmamış olan kimi form ve bezeme özellikleri ile de dikkat çeker. Bu kaplarınetüdünde dikkat çeken kimi tekil öğelerin benzerlerine Makedonya Bölgesi’nde ve Thesalia’da rastlanıyorolması, Kuzeybatı Anadolu’nun bu bölge ile ilişkisinin gelişimi açısından ilginç hususlara işaret etmeklebirlikte, bu doğrultuda yeni araştırmalara da ihtiyaç olduğunun altını çizmektedir.

AN EVALUTAION OF A GROUP OF POTTERY FROM YENIBADEMLI HÖYÜK: A NEW LOCAL TRADITION IN ISLANDS

Yenibademli Höyük, which is located on the island Gökçeada (Imbros) west of Gallipoli, is one of the sites enlightening the relations between north Aegean and west Anatolia. The investigations that took place since 1996 did not only uncover a small site showing close similarities to Troy, but also contributed to increase our knowledge on the nature of the Anatolia’s relations to the Aegean world together with the other Bronze Age sites Poliochni at Lemnos and Thermi at Lesbos. In following a group of pottery from Yenibademli Höyük will be presented. These Examples show similarities to those from Troia one hand and Poliochni and Thermi on the other. But there are also some peculiarities, which might be considered as unique. It is also worth to mention, that some of these peculiarities can be seen in Thessaly and East Macedonia. functioned as collective memory spaces, the selection and processing of food needed for these feasts, and also the storage of food depending on their seasonal availability or famine conditions played an important role in domestication of plants and animals as well as the transition to settled life for the first time ever
