Seyitömer Höyük M.Ö. 5. ve 4. Yüzyıl Ticari Amphoraları

Bu makalenin amacı Seyitömer Höyük'ten ele geçen M.Ö. 5. ve 4. yüzyıllara tarihli ticari amphora parçalarının bilim dünyasına tanıtılmasıdır. Çalışmamız kapsamında değerlendirilen amphora parçaları höyüğün Akhaemenid Dönemi'ne ait III. Tabakası ile ilişkili olarak bulunmuşlardır. Mevcut amphora parçaları içerisinde Khios, Mende, Thasos ve Güney Ege kökenli mantar ağızlı (Solokha I) amphora tipleri ile ilişkilendirilen örnekler yer almaktadır. Bunlardan Khios ve Mende tipi amphoralar diğerlerine göre daha fazla sayıdadır. Bu çalışmada amphora parçaları sınıflandırılmış, kataloğu yapılmış ve ait oldukları kontekstler ve diğer merkezlerden ele geçen benzer örnekleri göz önünde bulundurularak tarihlendirilmeye çalışılmıştır. Mevcut ticari amphora parçaları Seyitömer Höyüğün Akhaemenid Dönem boyunca Ege dünyası ile çok yoğun olmasa da ticari ilişkilerinin olduğunu göstermektedir

The aim of this study is to introduce the 5th and 4th century BC trade amphora fragments discovered at Seyitömer Höyük. The amphora fragments studied within the scope of this study were discovered from Layer III of the mound which belongs to the Achaemenid Period. The present amphora fragments comprise samples related to Khios, Mende, Thasos and South Aegean oriented mushroom-rimmed (Solokha I) type amphoras. Khios and Mende type amphoras are large in number than others. In this study the discovered amphora fragments were classified, catalogued and comparatively studied regarding their contexts and parallels discovered from other centres aimed at dating these findings. The trade amphora fragments indicate that Seyitömer Höyük had trade relations with the Aegean world during the Achaemenid Period though on a relatively small scale
