Üriner sistem infeksiyonlarından etken olarak izole edilen Escherichia coli suşlarında hemaglütinasyon ve hemolizin üretimi

Escherichia coli, idrar yolu infeksiy onlarından sık olarak izole edilen bir patojendir. E.coli'nin üriner epitelde kolonizasyonunu ve persistansım kolaylaştıracak virülans faktörleri vardır. Bu çalışmada, üriner sistem infeksiyonundan etken olarak izole edilen E.coli suşlannda hemaglütinasyon ve hemolizin üretiminin rolü ve önemi, asemptomatik bakterili kişilerden izole edilen suşlarla karşılaştırılarak araştırılmıştır. Asemptomatik bakteriürili kişilerden izole edilen E.coli suşlannda hemolizin üretimi % 34, insan eritrositlerinde mannoza dirençli hemaglütinasyon % 14 iken, bu iki oran piyelonefritli hastalardan izole edilen suşlarda % 83 ve % 90, sistitti hastalardan izole edilen suşlarda % 55 ve % 30 olarak bulunmuştur. Sonuç olarak, hemaglütinasyon ve hemolizin üretiminin idrar yolu infeksiyonundan izole edilen E.coli suşlarının önemli virülans faktörleri arasında olduğu yinelenmiştir.
