Pediatride yeni problemler: Yeni antibiyoterapi yaklaşımları

Gerek toplum gerekse hastane kökenli infeksiyonların değişen epidemiyolojisi ile birlikte mikrobiyal direnç paternlerinin de hızla değiştiği gözlenmektedir. Bu değişimle birlikte 10 sene önce uygulanan antibiyotik tedavilerinin artık etkisiz olduğu görülmekte, bu infeksiyonların tedavisinde dirençli mikroorganizmaların epidemiyolojisinin, konvansiyonel ve yeni geliştirilmiş antibiyotik moleküllerinin farmakokinetik ve farmakodinamik özelliklerinin gözönünde bulundurulması gerekmektedir. Bu makalede çocuklarda sıkça rastlanan toplum ve hastane kökenli bazı infeksiyonların yeni epidemiyolojik yüzü ve yeni tedavi yaklaşımları bu perspektif ile kısaca ele alınacaktır.
