Bazaloid tip yassı hücrel i kanser (BYHK),yassı hücreli kanserin çok nadir görülen bir varyantıdır.BYHK,baş ve boyunda çoğunlukla hipofarenks,dil tabanı ve larenksin supraglottik bölgesinde yerleşir.Klinik olarak agresif seyreder.Boyun lenf bezi ve uzak metastazları sıktır.Sıklıkla erkeklerde ve ileri yaşta görülür.Bu makalede, bazaloid tip yassı hücreli iki kanser olgusu sunulmuş ve konuyla ilgili literatür gözden geçirilmiştir.

Basaloid type squamous cell carcinoma (BSCC) of the larynx is rare variant of the squamous cell carcinoma.BSCC mostly occurs in hypopharynx, base of the tongue and supraglottic region of the larynx.The clinical course of the tumor is agressive.Metastasis to the lymph nodes of the neck and to the distant sites are common.BSCC of the larynx is mostly seen in elder men.In this article,two cases of the BSCC is reported and the literature is reviewed.
