Transkateter aortik kapak implantasyonu ve anestezi

Son yıllarda Transkateter Aortik Kapak İmplantasyonu (TAVİ) ciddi aort stenozu olan, cerrahi riski çok yüksek veya ameliyat edilemez yaşlı popülasyon için uygulanan yeni bir yöntemdir. Anesteziyologlar, bu yeni girişimlerde oldukça önemli roller almaktadır. Bu nedenle bu derlemede; TAVİ işlemi detaylı bir şekilde incelenirken, hasta güvenliği için anesteziyologların preoperatif, intraoperatif ve postoperatif dönemde dikkat etmesi gereken konular vurgulanacaktır.

Transcatheter aortic valve implantation and anaesthesia

Recently, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI) has been a new technique for elder population with severe symptomatic aortic stenosis; who carry a high risk for surgery or are ineligible for conventional surgical aortic valve replacement. The anesthesiologist plays a fundamental role in this new environment. Therefore, in this review; while TAVI procedure is examined in detail, the challenges from the aspect of anesthesiologists; pre, intra and postoperatively will be emphasized.
