Total intravenous anesthesia with target controlled infusion: the pleasant journey of propofol and remifentanil

Total intravenous anesthesia is a common technique for general anesthesia which has progressed by the help of technologic innovations to "Target Controlled Infusion" performed by infusion systems which include pharmacokinetic drug behavior software. In this review, detailed information in the view of literature about target controlled infusion which is old but available lately in our country is presented.
