Wıllıams sendromlu hastada anestezik yaklaşım: Olgu sunumu

Williams sendromu, kardiyovasküler. kas-iskelet ve endokrin sistem başta olmak iizere pek çok sistemi etkileyen multisistemik bir sendromdur. Anestezik yaklaşımda ani ölümlere yol açan kardiyovasküler patolojilere ve havayolu sağlanmasını zorlaştıran kraniyofasiyal deformitelere dikkat edilmelidir. Bu olgu sunumunda Williams sendromlu iki yaşındaki bir hastada inguinal lıerni operasyonu sırasındaki anestezik yaklaşımın tartışılması amaçlandı.

Anesthetic management in a patient with williams syndrome: A case report

Williams syndrome is a multi-systemic syndrome particularly affecting the cardiovascular, muscle-skeleton and endocrine system. Attention should be paid on cardiovascular pathologies causing sudden death and craniofacial deformities causing airway diffuculties in anesthetic management. In this case report we aimed at discussing the anesthetic management during an inguinal hernia operation in a two year-old patient with Williams syndrome.
