Yatay ve dikey bireycilik & kolektivizm ile para etiği ilişkisi: Türk ve Kırgız üniversite öğrencileri üzerinde karşılaştırmalı bir araştırma

Bu çalışmada Türkiye’de okuyan üniversite öğrencileri, Kırgızistan’da eğitim gören Türk öğrenciler ve Kırgız üniversite öğrencilerinin para etiği, yatay ve dikey bireycilik & kolektivizm eğilimlerinin karşılaştırılmaktadır. Ayrıca çalışmada yatay ve dikey bireycilik & kolektivizm ile para etiği arasındaki ilişkiler incelenmektedir. Elde edilen sonuçlara göre yüksek dikey bireycilik eğilimine sahip olanlar parayı başarının sembolü olarak görmektedirler. Ayrıca, yapılan harcama miktarı arttıkça bütçeye verilen önem azalmaktadır. Kırgız öğrenciler için para hem şeytan olarak hem de başarının sembolü olarak düşünmektedirler. Buna ilave olarak, Türkiye’de eğitim gören Türk öğrencilerin yatay kolektivizm eğilimi, Kırgızistan’da eğitim gören Türk öğrencilerden ve Kırgız öğrencilerden daha yüksek olarak ortaya çıkmıştır.

The relationships of horizontal and vertical individualism & collectivism and money ethic: A comparative study of Turkish and Kyrgyz university students

This study compared people’s of the money ethic and horizontal and vertical individualism & collectivism across Turkish university students studying in Turkey, Turkish university students studying in Kyrgyzstan and Kyrgyz university students. This study also investigates the relationships between horizontal and vertical individualism & collectivism and money ethic. Results showed that high on factor success tended to have high vertical individualism. Results also show that, low on factor budget tended to have high expenditure. Kyrgyz students considered money as evil and symbol of success. Besides, Turkish university students studying in Turkey were more horizontally collectivistic than the Turkish university students studying in Kyrgyzstan and Kyrgyz university students.
