İş Yerinde Yaşanan Psikolojik Şiddetin Yapısı ve Boyutları: 4-5 Yıldızlı Otel İşletmeleri Örneği

Bu çalışmada işyerlerinde yaşanan psikolojik şiddetin yapısı ve boyutları incelenmektedir. İşyerin- de bir kişinin sürekli ve sistematik olarak bir ya da birden fazla çalışan tarafından saldırgan davranış- lara hedef haline getirilmesiyle psikolojik şiddet meydana gelmektedir. Bu tür davranışlar kişi üzerin- de psikolojik travmalara sebep olmaktadır. Bu nedenle, organizasyonlarda yaşanan psikolojik şiddetin nedenlerinin ve yapısının ortaya konulması çok önemlidir. Bu amaçla, psikolojik şiddetin özellikleri, kimlerin kimlere uyguladığını, neden yapıldığını ve sonuçlarını anlamak üzere ampirik bir çalışma yü- rütülmüştür. Uygulama Türkiye’de bulunan dört ve beş yıldızlı otel işletmelerinde çalışan işgörenler üzerinde yapılmıştır.

The Nature and Dimession of Mobbing at Work: 4-5 Star Hotel Establishments Case

The study rewiews and introduces the nature and dimensions of mobbing at work. Mobbing occurs when someone at work is systematically subjected to aggressive behaviour from one or more colleagues or supervisors over a period of time, in a situation where the targets finds it difficult to defend him or herself to escape the situation. Such treatment tends to stigmatise the target and may cause severe psychological trauma.So the causes and dimensions of mobbing must be introduce. So an empirical research has been conducted to get knowledge of “ what is the charactaristic of mobbing, who is doing, what to whom, where, why and with what kinds of consequences” in relation with mobbing. The research has been focused people who were working at the four and five stars hotel establishments in Turkey
