Bolu Arkeoloji Müzesi'ndeki Bizans altın sikkeleri

Bolu Arkeoloji Müzesi sikke koleksiyonunda 11.370 adet Antik ve İslami sikke bulunmaktadır. 2008 Yılı Eylül ayında Bolu Arkeoloji Müzesi’nde gerçekleştirilen çalışmada, 1975–2005 yılları arasında envantere kaydedilmiş 394 adet Bizans sikkesi tespit edilmiştir. Bu sikkelerin 11’i altın, 2’si gümüş ve 381’i bronzdur. Müzedeki Bizans altın sikkeleri İmparator II. Basileios, IX. Konstantinos, VII. Mikhael, III. Ioannes ve VIII. Mikhael dönemlerine tarihlenmektedir. Bu çalışmada, katalogda yer alan imparatorların altın sikkeleri hakkında bilgi verilmiştir

Byzantine gold coins in Bolu Achaeology Museum

There are 11.370 ancient and Islamic coins in the coin collection of Bolu Archeology Museum. 394 Byzantine coins which were recorded in the inventory between 1975–2005 have been determined in the study carried out in Bolu Archaeology Museum in September 2008. 11 gold, 2 silver and 381 of these coins are bronze. Byzantine gold coins in museum from the reign of Basileios II, Cosntantine IX, Michael VII, Ioannes III and Michael VIII. In this study information was given on gold coins of emperors in catalogue.
