Samsun çevresinde (Philaenus spumorius (L.) (Hom: Cercopidae)' un hayat döngüsü ve populasyon yoğunluğu üzerine araştırma

Çayır köpük böceği olarak bilinen Philaenus spumarius (Linne. 1758) Palearktik ve Nearktik bölgelerde geniş zoocoğrafı yayılış gösterir. Bitki özsuyu emerek beslenmesi ve bitki hastalık etmenlerini hastalıklı bir bitkiden sağlam bitkilere taşıyıp yayarak bulaştırması nedeniyle ekonomik öneme sahiptir. Hemimetabol bir başkalaşım gösteren P.spumarius' un nisan ayı ortasından itibaren yumurtadan çıkan nimfleri, bitki üzerinde salgıladıkları köpük kütleleri içerisinde mayıs ayı sonuna kadar beş nimf evresi geçirirler. Köpük kütlelerinin en yoğun görüldüğü mayıs ayı ortasından itibaren haziran ayı başına kadar ergin bireyler çıkarlar. Ergin bireylerdeki populasyon yoğunluğu mayıs ayı ikinci yarısından başlayarak haziran ayında en yüksek; kasım ayında yüksek; mart, ve nisan aylarında ise az oranda görülmüştür.

A study on the life cycle and population density of Philaenus spumarius (L.) (Hom: cercopidae) in Samsun

Philaenus spumarius (Linne, 1758). known spittlebug, shows a wide zoogeographicai distribution in Palearctic and Nearctic regions. It has economic importance since it feeds sucking plant sap and transmits plant disease factors on the diseased plant from diseased plants to healthy plants. The nymphs, which hatch from mid-April, of P. Spumarius, which have hemimetabolus development pass five nymphal phases until the end of May in the froth masses that they secrete on the plant. Adults come out of froth masses from mid-May, when froth masses can be observed most frequently, to early June. Beginning of mid - May the population density of adults was observed to be at the highest rate in June, at a high rate in November and at a low rate in March and April.
