HEMŞİRELERİN İŞİTME ENGELLİ BİREYLERE YÖNELİK TUTUMLARININ BELİRLENMESİ
Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı bir üniversite hastanesinde çalışan hemşirelerin işitme engelli bireylereyönelik tutumlarını belirlemektir.Yöntem: Bu çalışma Akdeniz Üniversitesi Hastanesinin dahili birimlerinde çalışan hemşirelerle Ocak2017’de yapılmıştır. Çalışmanın örneklemini çalışmaya katılmayı kabul eden 106 hemşire oluşturmuştur.Çalışmanın verileri “Kişisel Bilgi Formu” ve “Yetersizlikten Etkilenmiş Kişilere Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği”kullanılarak elde edilmiştir. Verilerin istatiksel analizi SPSS 23.0 paket programı kullanılarak yapılmıştır.Bulgular: Çalışmaya katılan hemşirelerin çoğunluğunu pediatri ve kardiyoloji kliniklerinde çalışanhemşireler oluşturmuştur. Hemşirelerin yaş ortalaması yaş ortalamaları 31.43±6.55’’tir, %92.5’i kadındır.Hemşirelerin hiçbiri işaret dili bilmemektedir. Hemşirelerin % 47.4’ü işitme engelli bireyle iletişim kuramadığıiçin üzüldüğünü belirtmişlerdir. Hemşirelerin %75.5’i en az bir kere işitme engelli bir bireye bakım vermiştir.Engelli bir arkadaşa sahip olmayan hemşirelerin engelli bireylere yönelik tutumları engelli bir arkadaşı olanhemşirelerin tutumlarından daha iyidir. Determination of Nurses' Attitudes Towards Deaf People
Aim: The aim of this study was to determine the attitudes towards deaf person of nurses working in a University Hospital. Method: The study was carried out with nurses working at Akdeniz University Hospital Internal disease clinics in January 2017. The sample of the study consisted of 106 nurses who agreed to participate in the study. The data of the study were collected by using personal information form prepared after literature reviewed by the researchers and Attitudes Towards Disabled Person Scale. Statistical analyses were carried out by using SPSS(Statistical Programme for Social Sciences Version) 23.0. Results: The majority of nurses participating in the study was working in pediatrics and cardiology clinics. The average age of the nurses was 31.43 years ± 6,55 (min: 21, max: 52), 92.5% were female. None of these nurses knew sign language. 47.4% of these nurses stated that being sad because they could not communicate with deaf person. 75.5% of these nurses was to looked after with deaf person at least once.
