The effect of different diazinon concentrations on male number of Pimpla turionellae L. (Hymenoptera:Ichneumonidae) population

In this study, effect of different diazinon concentrations on male emergence ratio of Pimpla turionellae L. (Hymenoptera:Ichneumonidae) population were investigated by using synthetic diet. Total male emergence was not affected by different diazinon concentrations. On days 10.,13, 16, 19, 22, 28 and 31 of experimental period different diazinon concentrations did not affect of male number. In the group which was fed with 0.75 ppm diazinon, male ratio reduce significantly (13.33%) in comparison to the group which was fed with 0.01 ppm diazinon (30.00%) on day 25. Additionally, male emergence ratio significantly reduced at 19 and 25 days compared control when they fed a diet containing 0.5 ppm diazinon.
