Değerler Eğitimi Üzerine Yapılmış Lisansüstü Çalışmaların İncelenmesi: Bir İçerik Analizi Çalışması

Bu çalışmanın amacı değerler eğitimi alanında yayınlanmış olan yüksek lisans ve doktora tezlerinibelirlenen ölçütlere uygun olarak incelemektir. Tarama modelinde hazırlanmış olan bu çalışma içerik analizitekniğiyle analiz edilmiştir. Araştırma kapsamında Yükseköğretim Kurulu Ulusal Tez Merkezi’nde 2010-2020yılları arasında yayınlamış olan ve belirlenen konu alanına uygun olarak seçilen, erişime açık lisansüstü tezlerincelenmiştir. Çalışmada amaçlı örnekleme yöntemiyle toplam 275 lisansüstü tez araştırmacısı tarafındanoluşturulan Bilimsel Yayın Analiz Formu kullanılmıştır. Tezler; yayınlandığı yıl, konu alanları, hazırlandığıüniversite, enstitü, anabilim dalı, yöntemi/modeli ve deseni, veri toplama araçları, örneklem türü, örneklembüyüklüğü, veri analiz tekniği açısından değerlendirilmiştir. Elde edilen veriler yüzde ve frekanslara dayalı birşekilde yorumlanmıştır. Araştırma sonucuna göre; tezlerin büyük çoğunluğunun 2019 yılında yayınlandığı,değerler eğitimi konusunda en çok yayın yapan üniversitenin Necmettin Erbakan Üniversitesi olduğubelirlenmiştir. Lisansüstü çalışmalar en fazla Eğitim Bilimleri Enstitüsü kapsamında yayınlanmıştır. Tezlerbüyük çoğunlukla Türkçe yazılmıştır. Çalışmaların en çok Sosyal Bilimler ve Türkçe Eğitimi anabilim dallarındaoluşturulduğu belirlenmiştir. Tezlerin çoğunluğu niteldir ve derleme araştırması türündedir. Örneklem olarak ençok öğretmenler tercih edilmiştir ve örneklem büyüklüğü olarak çoğunlukla 31-100 arası katılımcıylaçalışılmıştır. Araştırmalarda veri toplama araçlarının büyük çoğunluğunu dokümanlar ve likert tipi ölçekleroluşturmaktadır. İçerik analizi en çok kullanılan veri analiz tekniğidir.

EXAMINING THE POSTGRADUATE AND DOCTORAL THESES ON VALUES EDUCATION: A CONTENT ANALYSIS STUDY

The aim of this study is to examine the master's and doctoral theses published in the field of values education in accordance with the determined criteria. This study, which is in the screening model, was analyzed with the content analysis technique. Within the scope of the research, post-graduate theses published in the National Thesis Center of the Higher Education Council between 2010-2020 and selected in accordance with the determined subject area were examined. In the study, a total of 275 postgraduate theses were analyzed with the Scientific Publication Analysis Form created by the researcher with purposive sampling method. For this purpose, theses (in the year of publication, subject areas, university, institute, department, method / model and pattern, data collection tools, sample type, sample size, data analysis technique) were evaluated. The data obtained were interpreted based on percentages and frequencies. According to the results, it was determined that the majority of the theses were published in 2019 and the university that published the most in terms of values education was Necmettin Erbakan University. Postgraduate studies were mostly published in the Institute of Educational Sciences. Theses are mostly written in Turkish. It has been determined that the most studies were created in the Department of Social Sciences and Turkish Education. The majority of theses are qualitative and review research type. Teachers were preferred as the sample and mostly 31-100 study groups were preferred as the sample size. Documents and Likert type scales constitute the majority of the data collection tools in the researches. Content analysis is the most used data analysis technique.
