The Role of Legal Journalism in Society

The article deals with the functions and principles of legal journalism, and features of the industry press. The role of freedom of speech in the democratization of society is analyzed, and thematic features are classified. The article reveals the essence of the ongoing reforms in the law enforcement system of independent Kazakhstan, describes the features of legal publications that promote its activities. The content of some legislative acts is also considered. The author reveals the essence of the priority of media education of legal journalism in the era of new technologies.
