Features of the Etiology of Bronchitis

The aim of the work was to study the etiological causative agents of bronchitis. The result of identification on a microbiological analyzer revealed a wide range of pathogens of lower respiratory tract diseases in patients with chronic bronchitis for 5 years. During this time, 504 cultures of microorganisms belonging to 38 species and 9 genera were isolated from sputum. For the etiological factor were taken only those types of microorganisms that were released from sputum in the amount of 105 and above. Representatives of the genus Staphylococcus accounted for more than half of the number of all isolated strains (60,71%). In the second place in the inoculation of sputum was the genus Moraxella (Moraxella catarrhallis – 18,45%), microorganisms of the genus Staphylococcus (6,35%).
