Scientific Bases of Formation of Self-consciousness of School-age Children

This article reveals the psychological features of the formation of ethnic identity of school-age children in ontogenesis. In connection with the independence of the Kazakh people, large-scale tasks were implemented to enter the market economy, enter the number of civilized countries and the spiritual revival of each ethnic group in its composition. A special place in modern Kazakhstan is occupied by the study of specific age and psychological features of the formation of ethnic identity in ontogenesis. The methods and means of national education currently used in the formation of the ethnic identity of 6-7-year-old children were identified. The study proved that the formation of children as a national personality through the acquisition of knowledge is carried out only in organized educational activities that meet modern social conditions, taking into account their mental characteristics.
