Arap baharı'nın Türkiye ekonomisine etkileri1

2010 yılı sonunda Tunusta başlayan ve daha sonra Libya, Mısır ve Suriye gibi ülkelerdeyaygınlaşarak devam eden toplumsal olaylar Arap Baharı olarak adlandırılmaktadır. Yakıncoğrafyada bulunan ve hem ortak geçmişe sahip hem de ekonomik ve politik ilişkilerimizin olduğu buülkelerdeki toplumsal gelişmeler, Türkiyeyi de çok boyutlu olarak etkilemektedir. Sosyal, politik,askeri ve ekonomik yönleri olan bu etkilerden ekonomik boyutta olanlar belki de Türkiyenin busüreçten olumlu ya da olumsuz etkilenmesinin temel belirleyicisi olacaktır. Bu bağlamda, insani vepolitik bakış açısının ötesinde Arap Baharının sadece ekonomik yönü ile ele alınması bu ça lışmanınana konusudur. Çalışmada, Arap Baharının Türkiye ekonomisine mevcut ve olası makroekonomiketkileri analiz edilecektir.

The effects of the Arab spring on Turkish economy

The social events which started in Tunisia in late 2010 and have continued to spread tocountries such as Libya, Egypt and Syria are called as the Arab Spring. The social developments inthese countries affect Turkey multi- dimensionally which is located in nearby geography and has bothcommon history and also economic and political relations with them. These effects have social,political, military and economic aspects and the economic ones may be the main determinant in thatTurkey are affected positively or negatively from this process . In this regard, beyond the humanisticand political viewpoint, handling the Arab Spring only with economic aspect is the main topic of thispaper. In this paper, the existing and potential macro economic effects o f the Arab Spring to Turkisheconomy are analyzed.
