Dönüştürücü liderliğin bilgi yönetim süreçleri ve örgüt performansı üzerindeki etkileri: Tekstil sektöründe bir araştırma

Dönüştürücü liderler, bulundukları örgüte dinamizm getirerek arzu edilen değişimlerin gerçekleştirilmesine öncülük ederler. Dönüştürücü liderlerin, çalışanlara işleriyle ilgili yeni yol ve yöntemleri göstermeleri bakımından tanıdıkları inisiyatif, onların yeni bilgi edinme ve bunları paylaşma yönündeki gayretlerini artırmaktadır. Tam bu noktada bilgi yönetimi alanıyla dönüştürücü liderlik konusu birbirleriyle örtüşmektedir. Bu araştırmanın amacı, dönüştürücü liderlik modelinin bilgi yönetimi süreçleri ve örgütsel performans üzerindeki etkilerini belirlemektir. Bunun yanı sıra çalışmada, bilgi yönetimi süreçlerinin örgütsel performans üzerindeki doğrudan etkileri de araştırılmıştır. Araştırma süreci anket çalışması ile yürütülmüş olup, seçilen örneklemi tekstil sektöründe faaliyet gösteren orta ve büyük ölçekteki işletmelerin yöneticileri oluşturmuştur. Elde edilen veriler, korelasyon ve regresyon analizleri yolu ile değerlendirildiğinde, dönüştürücü liderlik özelliklerinin bilgi yönetimi süreçlerinden bilginin yaratılması ve bilginin paylaşılması üzerinde pozitif bir etkide bulunduğu, araştırma kapsamında odaklanılan bilgi yönetimi süreçlerinin de örgütsel performansı arttırdığı belirlenmiştir

Transformational leaders takes the lead in performing the desired changes by dynamising the organization which they are in. These leaders demonstrate their employees new ways and methods related to the job, which improves employees’ effort to gain information and share it. At that point, knowledge management and transformational leadership topics overlap each other. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of transformational leadership model on knowledge management process and organizational performance. In addition, this study investigates the direct effects of knowledge management processes on organizational performance. The data has been collected via a survey and the sample of the study consists of managers of the medium-and large-scale enterprises in the textile sector. When the data obtained has been evaluated by means of correlation and regression analysis, it has been found out that characteristics of transformational leadership have positive effects on knowledge management processes such as the creation of knowledge and sharing of knowledge and knowledge management processes which are focused in this study improve organizational performance.
