ORTAOKUL ÖĞRENCİLERİNİN SOSYAL AĞLARI KULLANIM AMAÇLARI
Sosyal ağlar gün geçtikçe çeşitliliğini artırmakta ve her birey kendi kullanım amacına göre bir sosyal ağı tercih etmektedir. Bu çalışmada, ortaokul öğrencilerinin sosyal ağları kullanım amaçlarının incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Öğrencilerin sosyal ağları kul lanım amaçlarını belirlemek için 2015 - 2016 öğretim yılı bahar döneminde Kırşehir merkezde bir devlet ortaokulunda 5, 6, 7 ve 8. sınıfta öğrenim gören toplam 1097 öğrenciye kişisel bilgi formu ve Usluel, Demir ve Çınar (2014) tarafından geliştirilen "Sosyal Ağların Kullanım Amaçları Ölçeği" uygulanmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda ortaokul öğrencilerinin sosyal ağları en fazla ödev amaçlı ve sonrasında sosyal medya ve oyun amaçlı kullandıkları görülmüştür. Ayrıca ölçekteki boyutlar dikkate alındığındaki ortaokul ö ğrencilerinin araştırma, işbirliği, iletişim başlatma, iletişim kurma, iletişim sürdürme, içerik paylaşma ve eğlence boyutunun orta düzeyde olduğu görülmüştür.
PURPOSES OF SOCIAL NETWORK USAGE AMONG SECONDARY SCHOOL STUDENTS
Social networks have been diversifying day by day and each individual prefers a social networkaccording to his/ her purpose of use. In this study, it has been aimed to examine the purposes ofsecondary school students to use social networks. In order to determine the students’ purposesof using social networks, ‘Purposes of Social Network Usage Scale’ that was developed by Koçak-Usluel, Demir and Çınar (2014) has been applied on 1097 students in the spring semester of2015-2016 academic year who are studying in the 5, 6, 7 and 8. grades of a public school in thecenter of Kırşehir. As a result of the research, it has been seen that secondary school students usesocial networks mostly for the purpose of doing assignments and the following purposes aresocial media and playing games. In addition, when the dimensions included in the scale havebeen considered, it has been seen that the dimensions of research, cooperation, establishingcommunication, maintaining communication, content sharing and entertainment are at amedium level.
